meet your coach

Hello! I’m James Holmes.

It’s my desire to help you see the goodness you possess and the value you hold within your family, your community, and even within yourself.

Healthy Living in Motion (HLM) is all about your health in constant motion. When you are not feeling well, you may choose to seek medical attention to help determine what is wrong so you can feel better.

Using all parts of who you are (your mind, your soul, your spirit), you’ll find how resourceful you really are and how you can recognize your potential — all in a safe space.  It’s all within you already; I’m here to help you develop and grow that awareness. I’m a Lark’s Song Certified Coach (LSCC). I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

Life is constant with many challenging moments. Send me a message and let’s talk and explore ways how we can begin changing your future now.

All of the best athletes have coaches …

Tennis, golfers, Olympic ice skaters, basketball players…...

They need that person to help them motivate towards a bigger goal and … help them see beyond their own perceived limitations.

Does it surprise you that you and I would need someone to help us see the same?

Background

As a native of South Carolina, I served in the U. S. Navy for twenty years. I retired as a Chief Hospital Corpsman after having served domestically and internationally. Throughout my service, I was fortunate to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management and Master’s degree in Public Administration, Specializing in Healthcare Management. I have continued my professional growth by actively participating in leadership programs. This gave me an opportunity to learn more about the place where I live and thrive to make a difference. Additionally, I have increased my professional and personal growth by serving on various community and organizational committees. I am employed in the healthcare industry. It has allowed me to grow and learn that becoming a certified coach rounds out a more holistic perspective of one’s overall health.

Having lived in Medina, Ohio for 17 years with my family, we have embraced it as our home and a stable foundation for our continued quality of life.
